I am a big fan of California Pizza Kitchen but this is the worst service experience that I had from all CPK branches that I've been to. Our server ( I hate to mention her name) ruined my night. We ordered soup, avocado club egg roll and lettuce wrap.FIRST MISTAKE, she didn't ring our lettuce wrap so we were waiting and waiting then she went back asking if we wanted dessert and thats when we realized that she didn't ring our lettuce wrap so we waited again. It is still forgivable since everyone makes mistakes. SECOND MISTAKE when we were paying I used my 2 gift cards she said that there's no fund in the card which is very odd because I never used them so i ask her to check it again when she went back she said she made a mistake THIRD MISTAKE when she check my 2 Gift card she said only one card is working which is not true because I never used them. I didn't argue anymore since it was a long day and i just wanted to go . FOURTH MISTAKE: When we were on our way to our car I realized she didn't give back the card that I used to pay for the remaining balance. FIFTH MISTAKE: When I wet back to the restaurant she said she gave it back so I went one by one checking all my stuff and I didn't find any after few minutes she went back saying she has my card. What a service.?????This is the worst service I've ever had. I will never ever go back on this particular branch. NEVER!!! She needs to concentrate and pay attention to her work.grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....she ruined my day!!!!!!!

I prefer thin crust mom/pops pizza restaurant with simple toppings. Yes, I do see the point with many different topping options. Oh, the place is always crowded over lunch time, so get there early.

My friend and I met for lunch here on a random Friday afternoon (about 1pm). Boy, was it crowded! However, we were able to be seated after waiting about 10 minutes. Our server was very friendly and nice. My friend ordered the Chipotle Chicken pizza. She very generously offered me a slice. It was a bit spicy for me (but please keep in mind, I'm a complete spice wuss). However, the flavors were very well balanced and fresh. I would have perhaps liked to have a bit more of the lime cream sauce, but the corn and black bean salsa added the perfect texture. Unfortunately, I won't be able to order this one again on my own because of the spices. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Caesar Focaccia Sandwich, which came with a side of Adobe Chicken Chowder. The Chicken Chowder was probably the best thing I had that day. It was a tiny bit spicy, but so creamy and well flavored. The corn added great texture to the soup, as you can tell, I love corn. The crispy corn tortilla strips also added wonderful texture. The sandwich was very fresh, but the chicken breast was not seasoned enough. The Focaccia bread, however (I got the garlic cheese), was very delicious. I would say the prices here was a little high, although the sandwich with the side of soup was a pretty good deal. Generally speaking the prices were a tad high, although it is located in a poshy locations, so.... :) One more little tip, we saw people at other tables have french bread and butter, and asked our waitress halfway through the meal if the bread came with lunch. Apparently, one has to ask for it to get it. I would strongly suggest getting some, it was fresh, soft and delicious.

Whenever I am in the area I try to swing by here to pick up some food, I enjoy their Ham and Pineapple and BBQ Chicken pizzas. When I do come here in order to expedite my visit I always choose to sit at the bar nearest to their nice flat screen to watch whatever sporting event they have playing. The Bartender/Server is always attentive and makes small talk whenever they are around cutting lemons or doing whatever side work they need. Normal service time is about 10-13 minutes from order to pizza which is respectable when you consider they make each pizza by hand. Their crust is tasty and I find myself able to eat a whole pie by myself for some reason which I normally don't do. Oh well, Give this place a shot most of their menu items are tasty, albeit slightly pricey.

I went here for lunch today with people from work. We had a party of 12 or so. Service was actually pretty good. The bread came out at a good time and drinks were ordered immediately as we sat down. I had the same as always Garlic Cream Fettuccine with chicken and shrimp for $16. I'm not a big fan of pizza but theirs do look and smell really good. Everyone else had either ravioli or pizza and everyone seemed satisfied with their dish. It took a bit longer for us to get some boxes and the check but service was pretty good throughout. We had only one waiter (forgot his name already) and he was really good about refilling everyone's drinks.

While visiting the KOP Mall most recently, we stopped in for a quick dinner. This restaurant was packed, although it was holiday season. We sat down (with our 1 year old daughter), and ordered some of the new small plates, a salad, and a pizza. We liked how they have introduced small plates to the menu, and ordered the Mediterranean plate. It was okay. We liked the sound of many of the gourmet pizzas on the menu, and ended up ordered the veggie pizza. When it arrived it was plenty warm, but the flavor just lacks. The crust, although apparently fresh, doesn't have a great flavor. It seems to be missing something. It had the essence of fast food, in a restaurant environment (and with restaurant pricing). We left content but unimpressed with our meal. The service was average.

Pizza chain, pizza chain, CPK is another yuppie pizza chain. That's not to say it's not tasty! They're in the KOP mall-- the only mall where I ever feel under dressed-- towards the front on the side with Cheesecake Factory. We were seated at the corner table, up against the window to the mall and despite being dressed appropriately for mid-May, my boyfriend and I were freezing. Our waitress had sort of an attitude thing, like asking us if she could help us was beneath her in some way. Whatever. She was pretty slow on everything. For example, we ordered dumplings as an appetizer and it took forever to get them. She set the plate down and walked away before we could alert her that we had no dining utensils. So we had to wait until she came over to our little corner again to ask for forks, while our dumplings cooled. They were still damned tasty. We planned to share a shrimp scampi pizza. It was excellent. I hadn't been in a CPK since college- ten years ago- and I remember being able to share a pizza. Last night's pizza was on the small side to be shared. Because the service was so sketchy, we ended our meal there and left. I liked it and will give CPK another chance to redeem themselves.

While I would probably go elsewhere if I were on a date, I think this restaurant is perfect for families (with children) who want to enjoy a nice night out together because the ambiance is spacious (although a bit of a tight fit by the host station) and cool but it's less than private. Still, It's a slightly sophisticated take on "Kids, let's order a pizza tonight!" The pizza toppings (btw, all the pizzas are thin crust here. Put away that pizzeria mindset!) are so creative that it would pique the curiosity of most taste palettes, especially the children! My personal favorite? The Greek Pizza or simply... the margherita. :) It's a nice night out with the family (+ children) without worrying about dining in mediocre restaurants with pirate hats, mini vans in the parking lot and loud, slightly embarrassing and impromptu staff birthday songs for the rest of your life as "Mom and Dad."

omg... sorry for endorsing a chain restaurant. as you know, they're all evil and all about profit rather than being all about making delicious food. but i have to in this case... can't go wrong with most of the choices here. my favorite is the greek pizza. gotta love it when they just pile all that good stuff on top of a decent pizza...

This may hurt my foodie rep reviewing this place, but I don't think I really had one to begin with! Decent selection of pies to share with a group of friends for an inexpensive meal. We had the avocado chicken wrap appetizer, a bbq chicken pizza, and a vegetable and japanese eggplant pizza. All were solid. Not a bad option when you're confused about your exact location in the mall and hungry.

I can honestly say that this was a five star experience. This was my first time at a California Pizza Kitchen and I was delighted by the wonderful service. I was instantly greeted the moment I walked in. Dave was our server along with Andrew who I believe was in training. The both of them were wonderful servers, very kind and attentive. The general manager even came by after they told her it was my first time and gave us a coupon for a free small plate. The atmosphere was very welcoming. The variety of the menu was terrific and I had a difficult time deciding. Dave told my party that we were able to split the pizza into two favors for an extra dollar. Since neither of us could eat a 10in by ourselves, we went ahead and split the pizza and shared it, which ended up being a great deal. I ordered the Crispy Mac n Cheese assuming it would be normal fried mac n cheese. When the server put the plate in front of me I'll admit I was a little afraid. I was delighted to find that it was absolutely delicious! I also ordered the Original Barbecue Chicken pizza with bacon instead of chicken and no onions. The pizza lived up to expectations and was excellent. I was very pleased with my overall experience. My only regret is that there isn't any CPKs in my area and this will have to be a rare experience. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

This is based on my takeout experience: I literally sat in the parking lot and placed my order online. I then walked into the restaurant about 5 to 7 minutes later. Upon entering the restaurant the greeters we're very energetic and full of smiles. I was then instructed to walk a few feet to the take out area where I was greeted by a young man smiling and hospitable. Overall, I was impressed by the energy in the restaurant more than anything in spite of my waiter stating it was a slow night. It made me really consider dining here. I really didn't expect much with my spaghetti bolognese because it was prepared so quickly but was taken by surprise from the great flavor. I almost ate the entire meal but had to stop. I will finish it for breakfast.

I've said before that I believe that good chain restaurants have a place in this world. I am all for local, and I'm all for predictable. CPK is one of those national chains that gets it pretty much right. We have an international student living with us this year, an enjoyable experience where the Young 'Un gets to know a peer from another culture and they likewise do the same. We'll call our student Mayday, for their favorite band. Mayday is a foodie. Loves food. Loves all kinds of food. Not at all afraid to have something new, and also to share their home food with us. It's a very good fit. We happened to be in the KoP mall one day. Headed over to CPK for their famous (and rightly so) BBQ chicken pizza. A huge hit. Sweet and tangy and crunchy and mmmmmm.... We also had the Kung Pao Spaghetti which was an interesting twist, very good too. Did not expect an Asian style dish in a pizza place but hey, it works. Only forgettable note was the salad, which was seriously "meh". Service was very attentive and friendly from Cierra, who effortlessly had us signing up for their 'club', something I rarely do but didn't mind doing this time thanks to her skillful sales pitch. I hope she gets a bonus for that. I am not easy. CPK, nice to visit a favorite 'on the road' restaurant when I'm not 'on the road'. I love your consistency and your quality.

Seriously, for being a chain store in a huge shopping mall, it doesn't get much better than this. My mom and I came here for lunch while we spent an entire day at the mall shopping for wedding shoes (hooray!) A day of shopping is exhausting, so it's usually best to start off with some food and a drink! We decided to pop into CPK for salads and maybe some wine. They had a pretty awesome selection of salads for being a pizza place (and hint: order a half salad--they're huge!) We both ordered a cobb salad. I wanted to add figs to mine, and our server said no problem. I wish I had a copy of the receipt because I don't know his name, but he was wonderful. When we were looking over the drink menus, I was considering the blood orange sangria. I wasn't sure if I would like it but our trusty server said it was amazing and he normally doesn't even like sangria. My mom and I both decided to go for it and honestly it was one of the best things I've ever consumed. I want to go back if for no other reason than to drink blood orange sangria. I wonder if I could order that by the pitcher? In sum, the service was prompt, the drinks were delicious, the salad was perfect, and we had a really great lunch in the mall (a difficult feat to accomplish, at times!)
Have a CPK nearby? I will eat at it! ATMOSPHERE: Located on the second floor of the humongous KOP mall. The place was pretty empty and well kept. The vibe was a bit dreary compared to other CPK's I've been to. FOOD: Jambalaya pasta - My all-time fave pasta dish at this chain. No one does it better that I've found, not even The Cheesecake Factory. Shrimp, andouille, tasso ham and spices over linguine pasta which was cooked perfect. SERVICE: Our female server was friendly and the service was quick (as they were super slow.) OVERALL: Convenient location in the mall, and the taste was on-par with other locations.

I'm not exactly sure what is happening with California pizza kitchen's soup situation... But they need to revamp it ASAP. I ordered a lunch combo that came with some somewhat lame choice is for soups. I settled on one that advertised vegetables etc. etc. but when I got it it was bland and oddly very greasy with an aftertaste of ham hock. The Very nice waitress gave me another soup which was the tortilla soup, something my daughter likes, so I gave it a shot. This leads me to my question...asking why does California pizza kitchen have consistently great barbecue chicken chopped salad and yummy pizzas but failed miserably on this section. Why is no one fixing this issue? Seems like The split pea soup has been on the menu since its inception along with a baked potato soup... time to spruce up the choices. I was not impressed. I believe California pizza kitchen wants to be a chain that has fresh choices and I've enjoyed their pizza throughout the years. I will no longer enjoy their soup until something changes. The soup made the restaurant feel more like a chain then a cool California cafe. Better luck next time.,

We headed to the King of Prussia Mall to dine before our long drive back home after our return flight from Las Vegas, hoping to get something at the Cheesecake Factory. Forget that. The wait was 45 minutes at 9:00pm. So we looked for something. We passed California Kitchen when we entered the mall, so we gave it a shot. Food was fantastic, servers were very attentive, our server was even training a newbie. We were also greeted later on by the Manager on Duty as well as the General Manager. We were asked to sign up for their Pizza Dough loyalty card, but we explained that this was the closest CPK and it was a three hour drive. Wonderful food, wonderful experience, we would stop in again if we were in the area.

While I am am a much bigger fan of non chain restaurants, this is definitely one of my favorite chain places. The pizza varieties are interesting and tasty, as are the salad choices. Its a great place to grab a bit when you are on the go. My fiance and I grabbed some lunch here this past weekend while we were in between places where we were registering for wedding gifts. I hadnt been to CPK in a really long time, so when I looked at the menu, I found some surprises. They definitely had a lot of new offering since the last time I was there, and they had a few gluten free and while wheat choices for those trying to eat healthy or those who have allergies, which is always nice to see. We decided on splitting the habanero carnitas whole wheat pizza and the roasted veggie salad. Both were very tasty. Loved the heat from the habanero sauce, and definitely appreciated that it was on the side instead of all over the pizza so it could be added to taste. The carnitas were very tender and flavorful. Loved the whole wheat crust, just wish it had a bit more crunch to it. The salad was really filling and full of tasty options. Artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, asparagus, eggplant, avocado and peppers call came togehter nicely in a light dressing. Loved it. Good service as well. Be careful if you are trying to eat healthy though. There are lots of calories hidden in their menu.

Ex I feel portions have gone smaller and food is more salty. Tasty but sodium content irks me. 5 of us here and 1 did not like the Sedona soup and left it after 2 slumps. The pizza is ok bit nothing like mom and pups places. We had the sangria and it tasted like cranberry juice Yucks

CPK always is a pleasant place to go relax and have a good meal. I had the avocado and bacon pizza with arugula. The bacon was very crispy and flavorful. Unfortunately the avocados were very under-ripe and therefore inedible. The server gave us guacamole to replace the avocados. The pizza was very good, and I would pick it again. We shared a BBQ chicken salad which was great. No complaints there...I would definitely get this again. We had Mac and cheese bites for an appetizer. These needed a lot of work...think "easy mac" fried into balls. Not very good, just bland and unappetizing. Stay away from the Mac and cheese bites.

This place is just "eh". I will start off by saying there were several good things about this place. First off, our service was great! Our server specifically was just overall really nice and easy going, something that definitely makes any experience more enjoyable. Everything came out fast and was still hot (a very good sign) and the atmosphere is really natural and modern. Really cool music too! The menu has a pretty good selection, a lot of different pizzas, salads, pastas, etc. to try. The food came out and the presentation was really nice, however, I am giving it only 2 stars because the pizza is just mediocre. I have definitely had my fair share of pizza and I can find much better some place else. I was satisfied with everything else, but I am all about the food when I go somewhere to eat (like most) and was thoroughly unimpressed. I won't be back any time soon.

Love California pizza chicken. Chinese chicken salad and is great love all the pizzas. Watch out for calorie bombs if you're trying to eat healthy. They don't highly publicize their calorie stats and there aren't many low cal options. Get some local options pleae!!

The strawberry Fields salad with watermelon was a great appetizer. When the BBQ chicken pizza came, I really liked it - Delicious! - But most is going to be saved for later. My wife had the chicken avocado rolls and I tried a bit, again delicious with bacon too! She had the margarita pizza and said it was very good! Much is left for a snack tonight. No room for desert ;)

Hopeless service. We had wait for an hour to be seated and the waiter took the order for the drinks. After getting us the drinks and when ordering for the pizza, we were told that the pizzas might take some time which we were okay with. The waitress checks with the kitchen staff and comes back to say that they are out of pizza dough! Why let us sit and wait for ordering the drinks and then say that they are out of dough. Why not tell people as they are entering that you are out of pizzas! The next time one of you actually plans to visit them, make sure that they are able to fulfill your order before waiting for an hour to be seated.

Always interesting pizza. My favorite pizza here is the California club with Avocados, Bacon and Lettuce. The line in King of Prussia is always a bit better than the Cheesecake Factory so I tend to go here more often. The kids always love their kids meal. Always a hit.

I always enjoy visiting CPK in KOP because they treat me like family at this location. I love my server, Aja because she is so personable, vivacious, effervescent and always greets me with a smile and hug! The manager, Jean is also professional, friendly and makes me feel at home. I love their BBQ chicken chopped salad and their sedona tortilla soup. They also have a new potato soup with bacon that is amazing! I love the location and always drop in at the Classic Nail salon for a nice pedicure after lunch. Keep up the great job, Aja and Jean!

The service was pretty bad tonight. They completely missed one out of four orders. We got a bowl of soup instead of a cup. That was their mistake but we still got charged for a bowl. The manager stopped by to explain how they missed one of the orders but never offer to take it off the check.

First time at a CPK. Very impressed with menu, service and design. I heard they serve more than pizzas. It's true. Menu offers variety of items. Our group had several menu items, to include a flatbread. All great. Service was great as well. Will definitely return to this CPK. Great job!

My food was super good I ordered one of the new items it was chicken roasted to perfection with the skin on and it was so good and tasty and it came with the best cauliflower and seasoning and the waitress was so kind and made sure everything was good or felt like I was eating a warm home cooked meal.

It pains me to write a bad review. I'm only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the manager Jean came through at the end of the meal. Our server Alex was terrible! I'm not picky but she ruined the entire dining experience. Our order was not complicated at all. Alex had a terrible attitude and was rude throughout our visit to CPK. We asked for beverage refills about 4 times and Alex didn't come through until after we talked with the manager. Alex also could have cared less about her job. Each time we asked for a refill, she would act like it was the first time we asked and that it was such a huge request. She also spilled sauce all over the table and did not do anything. In fact, she placed takeaway food right on top of the sauce. It was when she placed the takeaway boxes right on top of the sauce that Jean the manager came by. Jean quickly wiped away the sauce. Jean offered to make it up to us with a partial discount/desserts. I hope Alex can take a lesson in customer service and so others don't have such a terrible dining experience.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The restaurant was moderately full, but not packed. We were seated immediately. The server was prompt, but the wait time for food (salads and pizza) was very long, probably about forty minutes. When they took our order, the waiter told us he was bringing us bread, but never did. When we inquired, he told us they had run out of bread, but he'd forgotten to tell us (yeah right!). The manager came by to apologize and explain that they were unexpectedly busy, although they weren't super crowed. Nobody seemed to think of substituting something, anything, for their usual compliment of bread. We were very close to walking out when our food finally arrived. Food was OK, no better or worse than I expected for a chain at a mall.

First time here! it was about a half hour wait, so when we sat down we already knew what we wanted...just my luck they were out of what i wanted as an app, chicken quesadilla. so we ordered the chicken dumplings instead, they were just ok..wouldn't order them again.. the pizza was really good! it was so hot inside the restaurant, which was uncomfortable. The waitress could of smiled just once. It was def more pricey then I would normally pay for a pizza place. I would go back for takeout, but that's it.

This location is currently under construction, so the seating is very cramped, and everything is torn apart. Other than that, I had my usual CPK experience: good, fresh, tasty pizza. It's my go-to when i'm in an area that has nothing but chain restaurants.

I was impressed with the service at California Pizza Kitchen. I walked in around 6:30 p.m. (prime dinner time) and I was seated within 10 minutes. The waiter came to take drink orders quickly and he was very diligent throughout the whole meal. The menu has a great selection and the food was yummy! I definitely enjoyed my time here, the only negative thing I have to say is that it was a bit over priced for the quality of food. It was $40 for two people to eat, which to me is a quite ridiculous for personal pizzas. If you're looking for inexpensive this isn't the place to go.

CPK was going under reservations when we got there and it was still packed. Menu selection was like an eclectic Bertucci's. Food was solid. The stand out feature here was the waiter, he was the model waiter you watch in employee training videos but did it in an authentic way. Props for that. I'd probably go back but I wouldn't wait 20 minutes again. I'd also wait until they are done their renovations.

It pains me to rate CPK only 2-stars, because in general, my family loves the food here. We typically eat at a CPK about once a month and I have to say that service at this location has been steadily declining. We were here most recently to celebrate my son's 7th birthday. CPK is one of my son's favorite places and for the past several years, he picks this place for this birthday dinner with the family. We arrived around 5:30 and there was no wait, so we were quickly seated. Our waiter was over pretty quickly and took our drink order. He came back with our drinks and then took our food order, and from there it pretty much went downhill. I asked for bread when we placed our order. After about 10 minutes of it not coming out, I flagged him down and asked again. This time he did finally bring it out. Throughout the whole night, we had to flag him down to get refills (and he wasn't always easy to flag down) and I went through most of my meal with nothing to drink. He never came and checked on us once during our meal! Close to another 10 minutes passed between when we finished eating and when he came over to ask if we wanted desert. I ordered the kids brownie for my son and told him it was his birthday. He then proceeded to walk away and I was like, whoa, we wanted to order some desert as well. While we ordered the rest of our deserts, I mentioned two other times it was my sons birthday for a total of three times. Like a suspected, his desert came out with no candle and even my son asked me where it was. I was so disappointed. I got ahold of another waitress and asked if they still did birthday candles and she said yes. She got ahold of our waiter and a few minutes later he comes out with a candle and tells my son to close his eyes while I put the candle in the brownie and lit it. Obviously, it was after the fact and didn't have the same impact. We never saw a manager walking around or otherwise I would have flagged them down to complain. While the food was good, the service was horrible. UPDATE ON 11/29/2012: After my very disappointing experience, I wrote an email via their website. You would have thought someone would have at least called me to apologize or something, but after a month, I've heard absolutely nothing from them. I guess they don't just care.

Incredibly SLOW service and very mediocre food. My Italian chopped salad contained maybe 5 tiny pieces of turkey and the chicken tortilla soup was missing, interestingly enough, chicken. It also took 15 min for a server to even come to take our orders. Go to Bertucci's or PF Changs if you want to get food in a timely manner. The bright side, though, was that the seating was light, spacious, and comfortable and the Italian sandwich was solid and filled with plenty of meats and cheese on a soft, fresh asiago roll.

I placed an online order last night for pickup. I ordered two California club sandwiches and a Caramelized peach salad (with shrimp) to go. The sandwiches came with a side (cup of soup or side salad). I got the cup of pea and barley soup and my mom ordered the side salad...mothers know best. The cashier was super nice and generous with his offerings of complimentary bread. Fast forward to home where we're about to eat. One of the two California club sandwiches looks great, while my California club sandwich had about 1/3 of the contents that it should have. It was as though they used almost all the ingredients for the other sandwich and swept up the scraps to make mine. Ordering two of the same sandwich at least provided me the confidence in knowing that they can make a beautiful sandwich, they just cannot make two in a row. The side salad was plentiful enough, but the "cup" of soup provided wasn't even enough liquid to submerge the "bowl" of the spoon (that means the rounded part...I googled it). I wanted to dunk my complimentary bread in the soup, but it would have soaked up the entire contents, so the complimentary bread was nothing more than a pointless gesture to raise this review by one star...well played CPK. The peach salad had no complaints. So, if you are happy with two thirds of your order being really good, get takeout at CPK. Unfortunately, my third was the crappy third and I can't help but feel that there is no way they would have such a poorly constructed sandwich or minuscule amount of soup had I ordered in the restaurant. I was disappointed and since I was at home when I discovered it, there is no sending it back to the kitchen for correction.

Bad service!!! Told me the wait is 25 mins for party of 5 and I ended up waiting for 45 mins to get seated and saw people who came in after me got seated before me with the same the # of people. After I complained, they finally wanted to seat my party and ended up bringing my party to a table that still had people sitting at the table.

This afternoon I and my wife were treated absolutely unprofessionally by unfriendly unkempt and disheveled looking staff. From the start we were seated in the back next to thr Restrooms corner, although there were plenty empty seats in the dining area. We did not have other option but leave. This is not the first time we had such unprofessional treatment. There is a tendency in CPK in other locations to hire incompetent no customer service skills unfriendly young people. I am sure, eventually it will drop revenue. I am done with CPK

This was my first time ever at a CPK and I was very happy. Our server was great - I think her name was Grace - very attentive, helpful with explaining as it was our first time, and upbeat. Visibility of management was good as well.

We do not eat at chain restaurants often but CPK is out go to place when we want a quick bite while shopping at the mall. We loved our whole wheat pizza but also our sever/bartender Aja made our experience great with her upbeat energy and attentive service!

It was very busy when I got here. The wait was 30 minutes and it 2:30 in the afternoon. Besides waiting to get seated and waiting what felt a little too long for the food to arrive this place is outstanding! The drinks are great, and the pizza is better. Our waitress was also very friendly and helpful. It's a tad too expensive, but worth the stop every once in a while. The best pizza is the taco one.

I'm a fan of California Pizza Kitchen and the King of Prussia location didn't disappoint. We went in for lunch on Saturday and all we got was salads but everything was fresh and tasted good. Service was quick and friendly and the restaurant was clean.

This place is the restaurant equivalent of a chick flick. Totally geared toward a female audience who sometimes drag the men in their lives with them. But every once in a while I agree to go because the wife likes it and they have a thoughtful kids menu. My wife had a salad with something crunchy in it. I had a few bites and it was pretty fresh tasting which surprised me. I got a shrimp scampi fettuccine dish that was only 550 calories according to the menu. Sports bars don't put the calorie count on the menu. Garlic accounted for at least 200 of those calories. It wasn't horrible but I'm Italian and so...it just wasn't good. It was a notch below Olive Garden and there wasn't much of it. At least the OG has the decency to give you volume if not quality. Lucky for me we also had a pizza coming. But it was some kind of Thai chicken blah blah. So it wasn't actually pizza but it wasn't that bad. My son had a personal cheese pizza which looked and tasted ok. Better than a ball game pizza but not by much. If you've read this far, you might be wondering how I got to three stars. The answer is the menu, the service, the convenience, and wines by the glass. The menu is extensive without being unwieldy. So if you're in the mood for salad or some fancy pants pizza, grab your purse and head to the mall. You can return some things at Nordstrom while you're there. And the kids menu had a lot of options for picky eaters. I've seen a lot of kids menus and this is top notch. Our server Andrew was attentive and friendly and smiley. And it's not a bad family option at the mall.

Wife "dragged me in" but healrhy food is good now and then. Portions seem smaller. Nor as much chicken in bbq chicken salad.

All I can say is YUM. Good portions, awesome salads, sandwiches are unique, and service is great. I could go broke eating here so often because it's so addictive :-)

I have seen a lot of Yelper's do this, so I am going do it. My standards are kinda high so I can't bear to give a chain restaurant a 4 or 5 star rating so in this case I might give a 3.3 or 3.4. :) I am absolutely in love with their BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad - OMG I wish I was on that TV Show "The Best Thing I ever Ate" so someone would just bring me one of these salads! LOL. This salad has jicama (should be used more often), tomatoes, onions, grilled chicken, corn, tortilla chips, avocado (optional), BBQ sauce, Ranch dressing, and a lime on the side to add if desired - You should add the lime! They also have a wonderful selection of pizza, especially the BBQ Chicken Pizza (are we noticing a theme here). My favorite restaurants have open kitchens are this one definitely does. This means they have nothing to hide and their standards are high. I like that, even more so in a chain. Great place to go with a date, with the family or just with friends.

Based on service I am giving this CPK a 2/5. I'd give it a 1/5 but the pizzas my group ordered were pretty good.

Ran out of bread!!! Wish I could give them ZERO STARS. Messed up our meal. Added chicken to our vegetarian meal-said they will comp the meal and barely credited minim. Our Appetizers arrived after our main course. The quality has gone down a lot too. There was also confusion with the wait staff over who would take our table. It looks like two waitress got into an argument over who would take our table. It was awkward.

The food and drinks are great there. The Jerk chicken Pizza is sweet with a kick at the end. The atmosphere is light and all friendly. The managers and waitress come by many times to make sure everything is going well

Great food. I try something different there every time and I've yet to be disappointed. It does get crowded around lunch time and the dinner hours, but in those cases, I usually order to go. The staff is always super friendly. Even if I've ordered take out and wait at the bar, each person comes up to me and makes sure I'm taken care of.

Decent food, not too expensive, and serves booze at the KOP mall. After we finally got seated, the server was fairly attentive, yadda yadda. Most my table was done eating, while I definitely was still chowing down on my Thai Chicken Pizza. The server cleared everyone's plates, and asked us about dessert as I was mid-bite. We didn't want any dessert, then she returned with the check. WHILE I WAS STILL EATING. If my mouth wasn't full, I would have said something snarky, like "well gee I can't tell if I want dessert, I'm still trying to enjoy my pizza!" or "sorry I can't reach for my wallet with my pizza in my one hand!" Rude.

I enjoy CPK! I really enjoy their chicken and avacado egg rolls, and their pizzas on teh honey wheat dough! YUMMY! They have a great drink menu as well :-) The only complaint that I have is that they don't take reservations. I get it, not for a party of 2 but I had a party of 8 on Sunday! They would not grant my request so I unfortunately had to go somewhere else. I was highly dissapointed in that. I think that they should accomodate bigger parties but oh well, they're loss, I took business somewhere else~!

Going to keep this review short and sweet. 5 stars, easy. Food is consistent with the chain so if you have been to one PFC, you know the taste of the food and what to expect. Food came out very quickly. Good service and all staff members were friendly.

Looking for a place to eat where they don't kick you out, even its after they are close and you just start to enjoy your meal? Go over here. This is the very first time in my life, where I encountered such thing. They didn't rush us or anything. Yes. Us. We got like 11 people. Their food also not bad. Very good. Got the right portion and everything. 4 stars for the food and ambiance. Add 1 BIG star for their service. Yes. Their salad are delicious. So does their pizza and pasta.

I came down here for lunch with friends and had a pretty good experience. We got to try out three pizzas and all pretty interesting selections. Overall, I can't complain with little waiting time for a table for lunch.

OK so I don't normally *do* chains, but I am completely in love with the Miso Salad here. The half salad, which I get sans meat or crab, is filling enough for me. The dressing is just amazing, and there's so much going on: avacado, scallions, edamame. Fresh and delicious! To me, the food just seems more natural than stuff at other lower-range chains like Chili's or whatever. I've also had the Mediterranean spring roll app, which is tasty too--sort of like a pizza in an egg roll. Atmosphere is casual--couples, families, shoppers... your general KoP crowd. Add a glass of Nobilo sauvignon blanc and I am a happy girl!

Went for a late lunch yesterday. It was very crowded and we had to wait 20 minutes to get a table. They need places to sit. We had to stand by the door and wait for them to call our name. After we did get seated, the waitress was very attentive and the food came very quickly. I wasn't very hungry so I got the Korean BBQ tacos. My GF got the BBQ Salad. Our friends got the focaccia sandwiches. My taco's were tasty but very small. Hardly worth tasting. Yeah.....I know they were appetizers but I was still disappointed in the size. I ended up eating half my GF's salad. The friends said their sandwiches were good. It was pretty expensive as we blew over $50 with tip for 2 sandwiches; a couple of ice teas; a half salad, and the tacos. I have only gotten the pizza here before and I do love their pizza but I wasn't hungry enough for that much food. The food is pretty good but way overpriced. I will only get pizza when I come again. They have a gluten-free menu (my GF can't eat gluten) but it has the usual suspects on it. The waitress was not even aware of the gluten free menu. I found it on the website - after the fact. There was no gluten free pizza. I think if you are going to have a gluten free menu - you should have gluten free pizza.....but that's just me.

For a fast-food style sit down restaurant, I think this place is above expectations. I would not rate the food as 4-5 stars but when comparing it to similar restaurants at similar prices, I would eat here again. The chopped salad was very good and came quickly despite the restaurant being full. The BBQ chicken hawaian pizza was also very good for restaurant pizza. The restaurant is very vibrantly decorated and enjoyable. The service met my expectations.

Overall, the salads and pizzas were underwhelming. The salads were very bland and the pizzas were not overly flavorful. We will not be coming back. (Only came because of a coupon)

First visit to the establishment was over the weekend. I ordered the roasted vegetable salad with grilled chicken. Salad was OK and pretty much hit the spot. My only complaint was the service. Our waiter was a bit overattentive at times. I dont know how to put it except to say he just had a weird vibe, kind of made the dining experience creepy.

for a chain, the food is good & I like the variety, but on my most recent trip the customer service really shined. they didn't have an ingredient for drink I ordered so I ordered a glass of wine instead. the manager brought the glass out to me herself & told me it would be comped. totally unexpected-it made my day!

Our family has spent many meals here at the KOP Cal Pizza. BLT pizza is my favorite. I would normally give them a 3-4 star rating as, well let's face it folks, this is NOT fine dining. Plus the noise lever here is off the decibel chart. I recently went to a group event held in the open air back room, and I have to tell you that the noise was still off the charts. Can you imagine, there is an open wall and people could not hear across the table. BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT what you should all be alert to is that if you have a group event, find someplace else to hold it. Or plan ahead. Limit the number of choice selections, have the waiter take orders as soon as people arrive. When placing the order tell the waiter your NAME and dish selection. Our orders trickled in 2-4 dishes at a time. Leaving half of us famished and others eating alone. The staff was pleasant, but they just could not handle this event. It really has put a damper on my thoughts of coming back for my BLT pizza.

California Pizza Kitchen holds their own, I must say! My favorite item on the menu is their BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad. Being a bit OCD, I absolutely l-o-v-e the presentation of this salad! It comes in a perfectly symmetrical pile of bliss, with tomatoes around the perimeter of the dish, working their way in to the lettuce, jicama, and a juicy pile of chopped BBQ chicken on top. It comes with a variation on ranch dressing, but they don't pile it on like most places. It's evenly distributed and there is not too much. Absolutely delicious! Being a creature of habit, I can't speak too much to the other menu items. The last two friends that I have gone with have gotten the Grilled Chicken Foccacia sandwich, and the Garlic Chicken Pizza. Both loved their entrees! One night we also received two complimentary samples of their wine of the day. Delish!

I've been to California Pizza Kitchen (a nationwide pizza franchise) several times for lunch and dinner. If I'm with a large group (done this twice), we secure porch seats in a semi-private room, good for mall-people-watching. The decor is full of bright pastels, and selective, well-lit spot lighting. The menu has American, Italian and Asian-inspired choices. Prices aren't exorbitant. Tried various dishes: - Thai linguini (with chicken) texture was like pad thai but super peanutty. - Jambalaya pasta was good, with large tomatoes and a tangy bite. - Singaporean rolls as an appetizer special resembled Vietnamese bite-sized summer rolls and came with with a bean sauce. Definitely good if they're available - A bizarre salad (unsure of its name) that tasted like spiked, sweet sauerkraut. Yuck - Garlic cheese focaccia bread, comes in a hefty serving, and isn't bad. - Peking Duck pizza - covered in a sweet *hoisin* bean sauce, the duck was dry and scary-looking - Jamaican Jerk pizza - blahhhhhh, tasteless and annoying (!) - Chipotle Chicken pizza - pretty good Service (Donny, and others) was efficient, friendly and apologized quickly when a wrong dish was delivered. Can't recommend CPK for its novelty pizzas (like the Peking Duck), but their pasta dishes arent bad. Nothing really stands out, but it is a good place for sharing food and having a small party.

CPK is definitely a place where everyone should go too. It has so many different options for people, so you can never go wrong. I personally love their pastas and sandwiches, and a lot of my friends love their pizza. Another great thing about CPK is that it has awesome desserts. Personal favorite is their sundae...sooo delicious. Their red velvet cake is to die for too. The staff there is so nice and friendly and are always there to help if you can't make a decision on your own. The restaurant itself it's nice too. You can dress up if you would like, and if you want to dress down you can too. With all that said, this restaurant is one of my favorites and I highly stress that people should go there, cause you won't regret it. :)

While I'm not really into the "gourmet" pizza trend, this place is one of the better around. They have a pretty good salad selection, and while the Caesar salad (my litmus test for restaurants) is bland, it's more edible than some in the area (wow I'm snobby!). My wife and friends really like it here, so it's obviously my tastes that are biased when it comes to the pizza, but I like simple things, and the pizzas here are anything but. The prices are a little high for pizza, but the wait staff is very nice and attentive, and I've never had to wait long to get a seat, even with a larger group.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Tried the new butter cake tonight. It was WONDERFUL. Thanks to Server Sarah for the sneak peak.

(4)Atilla B.
omg... sorry for endorsing a chain restaurant. as you know, they're all evil and all about profit rather than being all about making delicious food. but i have to in this case... can't go wrong with most of the choices here. my favorite is the greek pizza. gotta love it when they just pile all that good stuff on top of a decent pizza...
(5)Everett R.

Their thai crunch salad is my favorite salad all around US and their appetizers and cocktails are good too.

(2)Sara R.

(2)Katie P.
Love California pizza chicken. Chinese chicken salad and is great love all the pizzas. Watch out for calorie bombs if you're trying to eat healthy. They don't highly publicize their calorie stats and there aren't many low cal options. Get some local options pleae!!
(3)Jenna M.
Amazing service! The staff and management go out of their way to make sure their customers are happy and taken care of. There were a few minor hiccups in our order and management was attentive and helpful! Must try- The avocado egg rolls are amazing!
(5)Foodie S.
-Holy ! This is a busy place :O -There is a mexican cantina opposite to this place and people might think that place went out of business if they just compare the rush between these two places.. -The food is Of Course good !! CPK hails anytime, anyplace *G
(5)Henry W.
(5)Jagdeesh N.

Always love this place! My friend and I come every time we go to king of Prussia for a shopping trip. Great wine list, wonderful pasta dishes and pizzas. Service is great and they recently updated the inside and it looks great!
(5)Mike A.
Always interesting pizza. My favorite pizza here is the California club with Avocados, Bacon and Lettuce. The line in King of Prussia is always a bit better than the Cheesecake Factory so I tend to go here more often. The kids always love their kids meal. Always a hit.
(4)Joe C.
First of all ju guys know da food is banging ...but I was greeted better than I have ever been greeted by any restaurant before in my 36 years !!!! His name was malvin I think he made me feel very comfortable being from out of town with a happy smile and well mannered being!!! He made THE whole experience better... hey boss .. take care of this guy his smile brightens the place up .....and THATS REAL!!!
(5)Steve S.
(5)Carlos P.
The service was pretty bad tonight. They completely missed one out of four orders. We got a bowl of soup instead of a cup. That was their mistake but we still got charged for a bowl. The manager stopped by to explain how they missed one of the orders but never offer to take it off the check.
(2)Erin C.
Food was decent but our waiter had extremely poor service. He was rude and lacked manners. He also removed his name tag therefore we couldn't get his name.
(1)Happy T.
First time at a CPK. Very impressed with menu, service and design. I heard they serve more than pizzas. It's true. Menu offers variety of items. Our group had several menu items, to include a flatbread. All great. Service was great as well. Will definitely return to this CPK. Great job!
(4)Logan R.
My food was super good I ordered one of the new items it was chicken roasted to perfection with the skin on and it was so good and tasty and it came with the best cauliflower and seasoning and the waitress was so kind and made sure everything was good or felt like I was eating a warm home cooked meal.
(5)Angel I.

(2)Yinyang H.
(3)Christine L.
Love this place! Excellent Valentine's meal deal. Great serve staff, great food - superior people watching. Knowledgeable + friendly staff.
(5)Jessica M.
This location is currently under construction, so the seating is very cramped, and everything is torn apart. Other than that, I had my usual CPK experience: good, fresh, tasty pizza. It's my go-to when i'm in an area that has nothing but chain restaurants.
(3)Julia M.
(3)James K.
(3)Greg L.
(2)Aditi D.
Dirty, rude, refuse to accommodate and a terrible representation of the chain. Unhygienic.
(2)Danan R.
(2)Mark W.
I eat here about once a week, selection never gets old and the staff is super friendly, I love the chicken chipotle pizza and the pea soup! The GM and AGM are always upbeat and comical, nice to see this in the biz
(5)Michael R.
(2)Laura W.
(2)Adam S.
(1)Allison M.
This was my first time ever at a CPK and I was very happy. Our server was great - I think her name was Grace - very attentive, helpful with explaining as it was our first time, and upbeat. Visibility of management was good as well.
(5)Mimi S.
We do not eat at chain restaurants often but CPK is out go to place when we want a quick bite while shopping at the mall. We loved our whole wheat pizza but also our sever/bartender Aja made our experience great with her upbeat energy and attentive service!
(5)Olivia B.
(4)Zach Q.
I'm a fan of California Pizza Kitchen and the King of Prussia location didn't disappoint. We went in for lunch on Saturday and all we got was salads but everything was fresh and tasted good. Service was quick and friendly and the restaurant was clean.
(4)Joe C.
(3)Bryan R.
Wife "dragged me in" but healrhy food is good now and then. Portions seem smaller. Nor as much chicken in bbq chicken salad.
(3)Jenna G.
All I can say is YUM. Good portions, awesome salads, sandwiches are unique, and service is great. I could go broke eating here so often because it's so addictive :-)
(5)Jennifer B.
(3)Janice T.
Based on service I am giving this CPK a 2/5. I'd give it a 1/5 but the pizzas my group ordered were pretty good.

Messed up our meal. Added chicken to our vegetarian meal-said they will comp the meal and barely credited minim. Daughter has peanut allergy and goofed up the salad. Poor customer service.
(2)Andrew M.
Good food had the BBQ Chick salad and we got the spicy chipotle chicken pizza
(4)J C.
The food and drinks are great there. The Jerk chicken Pizza is sweet with a kick at the end. The atmosphere is light and all friendly. The managers and waitress come by many times to make sure everything is going well
(5)Sarah F.
Great food. I try something different there every time and I've yet to be disappointed. It does get crowded around lunch time and the dinner hours, but in those cases, I usually order to go. The staff is always super friendly. Even if I've ordered take out and wait at the bar, each person comes up to me and makes sure I'm taken care of.
(4)Jennifer T.
(2)Tina C.
(3)Emily C.
CPK is an okay pizza joint in KOP Mall. I miss the greek salad pizza they look away. Wish it was back! Overall an okay place for a slice! But, PLEASE BRING BACK THE GREEK SALAD PIZZA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(3)Robin S.
Going to keep this review short and sweet. 5 stars, easy. Food is consistent with the chain so if you have been to one PFC, you know the taste of the food and what to expect. Food came out very quickly. Good service and all staff members were friendly.
(5)Yohann S.
(5)Phillip Y.
I came down here for lunch with friends and had a pretty good experience. We got to try out three pizzas and all pretty interesting selections. Overall, I can't complain with little waiting time for a table for lunch.
(4)Krista B.
(4)Dave B.
(3)Andrew H.
(4)Bradley S.
Overall, the salads and pizzas were underwhelming. The salads were very bland and the pizzas were not overly flavorful. We will not be coming back. (Only came because of a coupon)
(2)SANDRA R.
(3)Maura G.
for a chain, the food is good & I like the variety, but on my most recent trip the customer service really shined. they didn't have an ingredient for drink I ordered so I ordered a glass of wine instead. the manager brought the glass out to me herself & told me it would be comped. totally unexpected-it made my day!
(4)E A.

Nothing extraordinary. Service was below average but friendly. No reservations. Prepare to wait especially on weekends.
